Happy Valentine's Day!

So I know that lots of people don't like Valentine's Day because its all lovey-dovey blah blah...kissy kissy...boo. However, I personally like the day because of the preparations that go into it. My all time favorite is card making. (: Heart shaped cut outs, dollies, and glitter. Lots of glitter. And then of course there is my other favorite thing to do which is paint my nails every shade of pink to red. I sadly didn't make any heart cookies or valentine cupcakes though...I seemed to forget. Weird I know. I did other cooking this week and baking but I never got around to the Valentine baking. Whoops. Maybe next year. Today was a good day for me though. Caleb and I went to Savannah for the day. We went to Starbucks and then walked all around downtown, Caleb bought me a present at Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Granted it was only like 29 bucks....but still. I love it! And we went to every tattoo place in the area to try and find somewhere with an opening for Caleb but nooo. We had to make an appointment to get his valentine present tomorrow. After all of that Caleb took me to my 2nd favorite ice cream place ever, Leopold's .

Yummo. You can't tell but I got Strawberry Shortcake(: Caleb was going to take me to this little cupcake shop but it was closed by like 3 because they got SOLD OUT. Imagine that...a cupcake store ALL out of cupcakes. Tragic for sure. I guess that just means that we will have to go back by and hope they have lots for me to try. I don't mind though. It was a fun Valentine's day. Very laid back and such. Whats the point of having the "picture perfect romantic valentine's day" anyhow? I loved mine. I am a jeans and a tshirt, take me to the ice cream shop kind of girl. Enough of my rambling, I'm sure none of this makes any sense, I don't really care too much. I'm not a writter, I'm a baker. Happy Valentine's Day everybody!!!
